RESOLUTION NO. 749-A
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
GRANTING A VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO.
V. 64-151, OF G. L. A. DEVELOPMENT CO.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin,
California, does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: The Planning Commission finds and
determines that a prope~ application (No. V 64-151) for
variance was filed on behalf of G.L.A. DEVELOPMENT CO., for
a variance to permit garage setback in R-3 zone of fifteen
feet from side property llne of property located at the
northwest corner of Pasadena and Sycamore Street off-rgmp,
being Lot 3 of Tract 5470.
SECTION 2:' A public hearing was duly called
noticed and held on said' application on October 26, 1964.
SECTION 3: The Planning Commission finds
and determines that special circumstances exist because of
the particular size, shape and nature of the subject property
which make the zone restrictions of the zone in which said
property is located more burdensome than upon other property
in the same zone, and which cause undue and unusual hardship
upon said property; that the proposed use by variance will
not be prejudicial or harmful to adjacent properties or to
their use; and that said proposed use by variance will not
be detrimental to the City of Tustin, its general plan, or
to the intent of the Zonln~ Ordinance, the public safety,
health or welfare.
SECTION 4: The variance, as ~mpplied for,
should be granted, and t"he same hereby is granted, subject,
however, to the following conditions:
(1) That the remaining access is kept cleared
at all tlmes.
(2) The Co~iditions as orescrlbed by the City
Fire Department are adhered to.
(3) Strict compliance with all other setback
requirements.
(4) A driveway easement be recorded with the
Planning Department of the City of Tustin before occupation
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of
the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, held on the
23rd day of November, 1964.
