RESOLUTION NO. 728
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING
A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO.
U.P. 64-174 OF STRATIN.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin,
California, resolves as follows:
S.~ction 1: The Planning Commission finds and
determines that a'proper application (No. 64-174) for a
directional sign on the property at the SE corner of Pasadena
and McFadden Avenues, more particularly described as follows:
The west 5 acres of the following described land;
beginning at a stake 8.40 chains east of a stone set in the
ground marking the NW corner of land conveyed by Silas Ritchey
to G.G. Godfrey; thence E. 8 chains to land. now or formerly
of E. Lister; thence S. 12.50 chains to a stake;~thence No.
12.50 chains to the place of beginning.
Excepting therefrom the East 15ft. as conveyed by
deed from Helen M. Tolliver and others, to Louis Ebel, and
wife, recorded May 23, 1919 in book 337, page 91 of deeds.
Also excepting that conveyed to State of California, Oct. 12,
1961.
Section 2r The Planning Commission duly called,
noticed and held a public hearing on said application.
..... Section 3:' The Planning Commission finds and
determines that the proposed use would not be detrimental
to adjoining property or uses nor to the general plan of
the City of Tustin.
Section 4:
A Conditional Use Permit to erect a
directional sign as applied for, is hereby granted, subject
to the following conditions:'
1. This permit shall extend for a period of time
not to exceed one year from the date of final determination.
2. The sign copy shall be limited to directional
information only.
3. The sign shall comply with all requirements of
the Tustin Sign Ordinance No. 183.
4. The applicant shall remove the sign upon the
expiration of the permit at no expense to any public agency.
5. The applicant shall post a one-hundred $100.00
bond guaranteeing the removal of said sign.
6. A building permlt shall be obtained for the
erection of the sign.
?. The sign shall be located a minimum of 40 ft.
from the Centerline of McFadden Street and 40 feet from the
centerline of Pasadena Avenue.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Planning Commission, held on the 22nd day of June, 1964.
