A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING
A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO.
U.P. 64-172 OF STRATIN.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin,
California, resolves as follows:~
~ection l: The Planning Commission finds and
determines that a proper application (No. 64-172) for a
directional sign on the property at southwesterly corner of
McFadden & Newport Avenues (approximately 17352 E. McFadden)
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a stake 27.15 chains east of
a boulder that marks the N.W. corner of land
deeded by Silas Ritchey to G.G. Godfrey on
Oct. 20th, A.D. 1881; thence north 39o30' east
10.23 chains to a redwood post; thence west
6.54 chains to the point of beginning.
Subject to reservations and easements of records.
Sect%on 2: The Planning Commission duly called,
noticed and held a public hearing on said application.
Section 3: The Planning Commission finds and
determines that the proposed use would not be detrimental
to adjoining property or uses nor to the general plan of
the City of Tustin.
Section 4: A~ Conditional Use Permit to erect a
directional sign as applied for, is hereby granted, subject
to the following conditions:
1. This permit shall extend for a period of time
not to exceed one year from the date of final determination.
2. The sign copy shall be limited to directional
information only.
3- The sign shall comply with all requirements of
the Tustin Sign Ordinance No. 183.
4. The applicant shall remove the sign upon the
expiration of the permit at no expense to any public agency.
5. The applicant shall post a one-hundred dollar
($100.00) bond guaranteeing the removal of said sign.
6. A building permit shall be obtained for the
erection of the sign.
7. The sign shall be located at a minimum of 40 feet
from the centerline of McFadden and a minimum of 50 feet from
the centerline of NeWport Avenue.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Planning Commission, held on the 22nd day of June, 1964.
