A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION
NO. 64-171 OF STANDARD PACIFICA.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin,
California, does resolve as follows:~
Section l: The Planning Commission finds and
determines that a Conditional Use permit be granted to
Standard Paclflca on Application No. U.P. 64-171 to
permit lumber storage, cutting and packaging on the
property described as follows:
An irregular-shaped parcel of land in the
County of Orange, State of California, being a portion of
Lot 66. Block 10, Irvines Subdivision as shown on map
recorded in Book l, page 88, Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of a line parallel
with and distant southeasterly 34.00 feet measured
at right angles from the northwesterly llns of
said Lot 66, said parallel line being also the south-
easterly line of theat certain 2.0727-acre parcel
of land described in deed to the Atchisen, Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway Company recorded August 15,
1963, in Book 6677, Pages 549-551, Official Records
of said County, with a line parallel with and distant
southwesterly 300.00 feet measured at right angles
from the southwesterly llne of that 100 foot wide
right of way of The Atchisan, Topeka and Santa Fe
Railway Company described in deed to San Bernardino
and San Diego Railway Company (predecessor in interest
to first said Railway Company) recorded June 14, 1887
in Book 245, Page 223, Records of Los Angeles County,
last said parallel line being also the southwesterly
line of Edlnger Street (80 feet wide) described as that
certain 4,7904-acre parcel in deed to the County of
Orange recorded in Book 5406, Pag~ 473, Official Records
of Orange County; thence South 50v 10' 50'' East (Basis
of bearings as per Record of Survey Map filed in Book
34, Page 17, Records of Orange County) along last said
parallel line 521.00 feet to a point in a line parallel
with and distant southeasterly 555.00 feet measured at
right angles from the northwesterly llne of said Lot 66
thence South 39° 48' 47'' West alRng last said parallel
llne 316.00 feet; thence North 55~ ~5' 54'' West 40.20
feet to a point in a line parallel with and distant
southwesterly 320.00 feet measured at right angles from
the southwesterly line of said 4.7904-acre parcel; thence
North 50 l0 50 West along last said parallel line
a0.26 feet; thence North 44v 28' 12'' West 50.25 feet;
thence northwesterly and westerly along the
arc of a curve tangent to a line parallel
with and distant southwesterly 315.00 feet
measured ~ right angles from last said south-
westerly Ilne'~oncave southerly and ~havlng a
radi~8 of 412 85 feet through a central angle
of~ 09' 02~' a distance of 512.68 feet to
a point tn first said parallel line; thence
North 39 48' 47'' East along first said parallel
line 594.47 feet to the point of beginning;
containing an area of 4.4532 acres, more or less;
Said land is included within the area shown
on a map filed in Book 34, Page 17, of Record of Surveys
in the Office of the CountY Recorder of said Orange
County;
Section 2: The Planning Commission duly called,
noticed and held a public hearing on said application.
~.ection 3:· The Planning Commission finds and
determines that s~id proposed use will not be detrimental
to adjacentpropertiesor~hses nor the general plan of the
city of Tustin.
Section 4: Conditional Use Permit, as applied for,
is hereby granted to permit lumber storage, cutting and
packaging on the subject~property, subject to the follow-
ing conditions:
1. Applicant shall dedicate a right of way to the
City of Tustin in form satisfactory to the City Attorney,
sufficient tO constitute right of way fifty feet (50')
from the centerline of Edinger Street.
2. A slx foot (6') fence shall be constructed
around the entire subject parcel, as shown on the gradln~
plan on file.
3. Installation of fire protection facilities
to the approval of the Tustln Fire Department.
4. A mlnumum of 23 off-street parking spaces
shall be provided as shown on the grading plan on file.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California,
held on the 25th day of May, 1964.
