AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING
SPEED LIMIT ZONES.
The City Council of the City of Tustin does Ordain as
fo~ows:
Whereas, t~ City Counc]i hereby finds, on the basis
of engineering and traffic studies, that the speed limits
on certain streets ~ithin the City should be changed;
NOW THEEFOE, the City Council of the City of Tustin
does ordain as follows:
1. That First Street, between Yorba Street and Westerly
City Limit be a 25 mile per hour speed limit zone.
2. That Yorba Street, between First Street and Fourth
~treet, be a 25 mile per hour speed limit zone.
3. That Yorba Street, between FOurth.IUStreet and
Seventeenth Street, be a 45 mile per hour speed limit zone.
4. That Prospect Avenue, between First Street and the
Northerly City limits, be a 25 mile per hour speed
limit zone (Southbound only).
5. That Main Street, between Pacific Street and the
Westerly City Limits be a 35 mile per hour speed
limit zone.
That the City Traffic Engineer be, and he hereby is
authorized to olace appropriate speed-zone signs in accordance
with the foregoing speed limit zones.

Council of the City of Tustin, held on the 4th day of March,1963.
