AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "FIRST STREET
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 'TUSTIN:
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of January, 1963, the Council
of the City of Tustin,did pass and adopt Resolution No. 633 giving
notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the
City of Tustin, said territory being therein designated as "FIRST
STREET ANNEXATION", said Resolution describing the boundaries of the
territory proposed to be anr;exed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 633 did contain a notice
of the day, hour and place when.and where the Council of the City would
hear protests made by any person owning real property within the
territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not
less than fory nor more than sixty days from the date of passage,,of
said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of February, 1963, at the
hour of 7:30 o"clock,P.M., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall o f
the City of Tustin, County of Orange, State of California, said time
and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No.
633 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council
did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation
and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners of
one-half of the value of the privately owned territory proposed to be
annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by
public owners of one-half of the value of the publicly owned
territory proposed to annexed as determined by said legislative body;
and
WHEREAS, said territyory is contiguous to the City
of Tustin, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Orange;
NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of
Tustin does hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter
described to the City of Tustin, and does hereby further ordain that
the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Tustin.
That said territory, the annexation of which
to the City of Tustin is hereby ap -)roved, is all that territory situate
in the County of Orange, State of California, more particularly
described as follows:

Beginning at an angle point in the existing city boundary
of the City of Tustin, as per Bryan-RedHill Annexation annexed in
accordance with Ordinance No. 172, dated June 4, 1962, said angle
point being the center of Lot 16, Block 12 of Irvinels Subdivision
as shown on a Map t ereof recorded in Book 1, Page 88, Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California;
Thence, leaving said existing City boundary, N.39°5912011
E. along the Northwest line 6f the East one-quarter of said Lot 16,
a distance of 660 feet, more or less, to the most northerly corner
of said East one-quarter;
T Thence, S. 50°00!40" E, along the Northeast line of
said East one-quarter, a distance of 660 fe.t, more or less, to
the most Easterly corner of said East one-quarter, said corner
also being a point on said City of Tustin Boundary line;,
Thence, following along said City Boundary lineS.3905912011
ud., a distance of 666 feet, more or less, to an angle point;
Thence, continuing along.said City Boundary line N.
50°00123" W., a distance of 660.86 feet to the point of beginning.
It is further found and determined that the public
interest and necessity require the adoption and passage of this
Ordinance as an emergency and urgent measure, due to the need of
the City for additional tax reifenue, and said Ordinance is hereby
adopted on'this date.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 18th day of
February, 1963.
