HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 694RESOLUTION NO. 694 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING CHANGE OF ZONE ON APPLICATION NO. Z.C. 63-131 OF A. R. BUILDERS. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California, does resolve as follows: Section l: The Planning Commission finds and determines that a proper application (No. Z.C. 63-131) was filed by A. R. Builders for change of zone to the "PD" zone of the property des- cribed as follows: PARCEL l: Beginning at a point in the center line of McFadden Street 306 feet West of a point which is 20 feet South and 33 feet East of the Southeast corner of Lot "K" of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, in the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 2, page 618 and 619, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, running thence Northerly 772.18 feet, more or less, to the Northwest corner of the tract 5.42 acres of land deeded to Albert E. McCarter^ et ux, by deed dated January 2, 1933; thence South 89v 37-1/2 West 614.97, more or less, to aoPOint in the West line of said Lot "K"; thence South0 44-1/2' West along the said West line 768.20 feet to a point in the center line of McFadden Street; thence East along the center line of McFadden Street, 618.85 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. PARCEL 2: Beginning at a point 20 feet South and 33 feet East of the Southeast corner of Lot "K" of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, in the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 2, pages 618 and 619, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, said point being the intersection of the center lines of William and McFadden Streets; running thence North 0° 18-1/2' East 774.16 feet to a point 33 feet East of the East line of said Lot "E" thence South 89° 37-1/2' West 304 feet to a point; thence Southerly 772.18, more or less, to a point in the center line of McFadden Street which is 306 feet Westerly from the point of beginning; thence East along the center line of McFadden Street, 306 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2: The Planning Commission duly called, noticed and held a public hearing on said application on November 25, 1963. Section 3: The Planning Commission finds and determines that the proposed zone change is in the best interests of the sub- ject property, adjoining properties and adjacent uses, and would be in harmony with the general plan of the City, Section 4: The Planning Commission recommends that the rezoning of the subject property follow adoption of the amendments to the zoning ordinance recommended on November 25, 1963 for adoption, and that the subject property be changed to the PD 3500 zone. PADDED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 26th day of November, 1963.
