RESOLUTION NO. 676 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, INITIATING REZONING PROCEEDINGS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN FIRST STREET, FOURTH STREET, PROSPECT AVENUE, AND NEWPORT AVENUE. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California, does resolve as follows: Parcel 1. Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of First Street and Prospect Avenue; thence N 0© 16' 00" W. along the centerline of said Prospect Avenue, a dis- tance of 404.96 feet to~a point on the Westerly prolongation of the South~line~of Tract No. 4842 as shown on a~map thereof recorded in Book 178, pages 7 and 8 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California; thence, N 89© 47' 00" E, a distance of 672.00 feet along said Westerly prolongation and along the South line of said Tract No. 4842 to the Southeast corner of said Tract No. 4842; thence, S 0© 16' 00" E. along the Southerly prolongation of the East line of said Tract No. 4842, a distance of 405.00 feet, more or less, to the centerline of said First Street; thence, S 89© 45' 00" W, along the centerline of First Street; a distance of 672.00 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM, the portions lying within Prospect Avenue and First Street. PARCEL 2. Commencing at the Southwest corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed to W. S. Hoxie as described in a deed recorded in Book 3847, page 570 of Official Records of Orange County, California; thence, N 0°12'00'' E, along the West line of said Hoxie property and along the Northerly prolongation thereof, a distance of 863 feet, more or les~, to a point on a line parallel to and 50.00 feet southerly of as measured at right angles to the surveyed centerline of Fourth Street, thence, Easterly along said parallel line a distance of 1,260.00 feet more or less, to the centerline of Holt Avenue; thence, con- tinuing along said parallel line a distance of 649.55 feet, to the Northwest line of Irvine's Subdivision as shown on a map thereof recorded in BoOk l, page 88 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California; thence, S 40 38 45 W along said Northwest line, a distance of 177.50 feet to Easterly prolonga- tion of the North line of the lot marked Leighy of the Vanderlip and Rowan Tract as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 5, page 160, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence, S 89°14'40'' W, along said Easterly prolongation and along said North line a distance of 1,390 feet, more or less~ to the Northwest corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed to Margaret M. Suddaby as described in a deed recorded in Book 659, page 19, Official Records of Orange County, California; thence, S Oml£'O0'' W, along the West line of said Suddaby property, a dis- tance of ?04.Z5 feet, more or less, to the centerline of First Street; thence, S 89°46'20'' W~ along the centerline ~First Street a distance of 435 feet, more or less to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM, the portions lying within First Street and Holt Avenue and the W 40 feet. from the "U" zone~ to the "C-I" zone~ and/or such other zone as may be determined. 2. Public hearing is hereby set for October 14, at 7:30 P.M. in the Tustin Youth Center, 600 W. 6th Street, Tustin~ California~ and the City Clerk is hereby directed to notice said hearing in accordance with law.
