RESOLUTION NO. 674 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING REZONING ON APPLICATION NO. Z.C. 63-130 OF BORCHARD. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California, does resolve as follows: Section 1: The Planning Commission finds and determines that a proper application, Z.C. 63-130, for change of zone has been filed by BORCHARD for the property described as follows: All that certain land situated in the State of California, County of Orange, described as follows: Parcel l: Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot I of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 2, pages 618 and 619 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence West along the South line thereof 83.04 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot J of said Tract; thence North 31.35 feet; thence East 83.04 feet to the East li~ of said Lot l; thence South 31.35 feet to the point of begin- ning. Parcel 2: The South 12 acres of Lot H of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 2, pages 618 and 619 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, excepting therefrom the following: Beginning at a point on the monumented center line of Williams Street, said point being at the intersection of said center line with the Easterly extension of the South line of Lot H of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 2, pages ~8 and 619 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, Cali- fornia; thence South 88© 26' 15" West along the South line of said Lot H and the Easterly e~ension thereof, 158.12 feet to. a point; thence North 0 46' 15" West, parallel to the monumented center line of Williams Street, 170.00 feet to a point; thence North 88© 26' 15" East, parallel to the South line of said Lot H, 158.12 feet to a point on the center line of Williams Street, thence O ! ~1 South 0 46 15 East along said center line 170.00 feet to the point of b~ginning. Parcel That portion of Lot H of the Stafford'and Tustin Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 2, pages 618 and 618 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the monumented center line of Williams Street as shown on the map of said Stafford and Tustin Tract, said point being 1045.12 feet South of the intersection of said monumented center line with the center line of Main Street, as shown on said map; thence running South 88° 33' 15" West 830.76 feet to a point in the West line of Lot H of said Tract, said point being the Southwest corner of the land described in that certain deed from Charles E. Borchard and Caroline H. Borchard in favor of John Meurs and Jennie Meurs, his wife, as joint tenants, recorded November 14, 1935, in Book 790, page 87 of Official Records, being marked by a cross on the top of the irrigation pipe line; thence South 0° 33' East 300.95 feet along the said West line of Lot H to the South- west corner of the land conveyed to Charles E. Borchard and Caroline H. Borchard by deed recorded October 6, 1930 in Book 428, page 63 of Official Records, said point being marked by a cross on the top of said irrigation pipe line; thence North 88° 23' 45" East 831.96 feet along the South line of said parcel conveyed to Borchard to a point in the monumented center line of Williams Street; thence North 0© 46' 15" West 298.68 feet along said monumented center line to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM, that portion within Williams Street as shown on the map of said tract. Section 2: The Planning Commission duly called, noticed and held a public hearing on said application on September 30, 1963. The following persons spoke: JOHN SIEGEL Section ~: The Planning Commission finds and determines that said zone change is in the best interests of the subject property, adjoining property and adjacent uses and is in harmony with the general plan of the City of Tustin. Section 4: The Planning Commission recommends that said property be rezoned from the "U" to the "PD" Zone. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Plan- ning Commission, held on the 30th day of September, 1963.
