HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 659 RESOLUTION NO. 659 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING AMEND- MENT OF SECTION 5.6 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, Califor- nia, does resolve as follows: 1. The Planning Commission finds and determines that a public hearing on the hereinafter stated amendment was duly called, noticed and held on June 24, 1963, at 7:30 P.M., on the motion of the Planning Commission. 2. The Planning Commission recommends amendment of Section 5.6 of the Zoning Ordinance, No. 157, as amended, so that said Section shall read as follows: 5.6 The following temporary uses shall be permitted in any district: (a) Model homes and their garages used as offices solely for the first sale of homes within a subdivision on the follow- ing conditions: 1. A temporary'Ceetificate of Use and Occupancy shall first be obtained from the Department of Building and Safety for the use of model homes and their garages for offices solely for such first sales; 2. The use shall be discontinued at the end of one (1) year from the date of the Certificate of Use and Occu- pancy; 3- Provided, however, the Superintendent of Building and Safety may for good cause, after receipt of a cer- tified report from the developer on the number of d- wellings sold, extend the time limit not to exceed two (2) successive periods of six (6) months each. (b) Temporary offices not exceeding 400 square feet solely for the first sale of lot.s within a subdivision on the fol- lowing conditions: 1. A temporary Certificate of Use and Occupancy shall 327 first be obtained from the ~Department of Building and Safety for the use of the structures for offices solely for such first sales; 2. The use shall be discontinued and such offices removed from the premises at the end of one (1) year from the date of issuance of the Certificate of Use and Occupancy. 3. Provided, however, the Superintendent of Build- · ing and Safety may for good cause, after receipt of a certified report from the subdivider on the number of lots sold, extend the time limit not to exceed two (2) successive periods of six (6) months each. (c) Signs in connection with the uses permitted in para- graphs (a) and (b) above shall be permitted within sub- ddvisions on the following conditions' 1. The sign copy shall be limited to matters relating to the particular subdivision; 2. Such signs shall have a time limit of existence concurrent with that' of the temporary offices within the subdivision; 3. Such signs shall conform with the sign Ordinance. (d) Directional signs to such subdivisions may~be allowed not exceeding one (1) mile from the subject subdivision, if not over one hundred (100) square feet in area, upon the securing of a Use Permit for such sign; such sig~s to conform to the sign Ordinance. 328 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the - City of Tustin, California, held on the 24th day of June, 1963 CHAIRMAN OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION (Pro tem) SECRETAORY~~HE PLANNING COM~SION STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ) COUNTY OF ORANGE, ) CITY OF TUSTIN. ) SS.
