RESOLUTION NO. 592
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TUSTIN, GRANTING. A VARIANCE ON
THE APPLICATION OF W. B. GALE CONSTRUCTION
CO., INC.
The Planning Comr~ission of the City of Tustin,
California, resolves as follows'
Section 1: The Planning Commission of the City
of Tustin finds and determines that a proper application was
filed for a variance by W. B. GALE CONSTRUCTION CO., INC.,
for construction of block walls for the property described
as: Lots i through 38 of' Tract 4418, as per Map recorded in
Book 154, pages 18 and 19, of Miscellaneous Maps. Records
of Orange County, California.
Section ~: The' Planning Commission duly called,
noticed a~d held a public hearing on the proposed variance on
September 24, 1962, at 7'30 P.M., in the Council Chambers,
City Hall, Tustin, California, all in accordance with Or-
dinance No. 157, as amended.
Section 5: The Planning Commission finds and
determines that practical difficulties and unnecessary
hardships will result from strict compliance with the pro-
visions of the applicable zoning of said property Unless the
said variance as applied for is granted, and specifically
finds that there are exceptional circumstances and conditions
applicable to the said property and the intended use which
do not apply geners_lly to other property and classifications
of use in the same zone; that such variance is necessary for
the preservation of a substantial property right of the ap-
licant, in that said property cannot otherwise be utilized;
that the granting of said variance will not be detrimental
to other property in the neighborhood or to the general plan
of the City of Tustin.
S. ec. ti02 ~4- A variance, as applied for, is hereby
granted to permit construction of block walls as soon on ap-
plication and plat' filed therewith.
PASSED Y~ND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Planning Commission, held on September 24, 1962.
