SUBJECT: EMPLOYEES WITH GASOLINE CARDS
Inter-C®m
It has come to my attention that the personal gas card issued to the employee so
that they can obtain gasoline from the City service station is not being returned
to this department when the employee retires, is terminated, resigns, etc.
These gas cards are not considered to be personal property, but City property
furnished to the employee to use during his or her employment. It is imperative
that the cards be returned to this department so that we can account for all the
cards issued. The employee should not be given his or her last paycheck until
the card is turned into this department.
Employees that have left the City and failed to return their cards are:
1. Gus Thompson
2. Mike Taft
3. William Hull
4. Robert Conway
5. Max Racine
6. Fred Crasco
If these cards are being held by their respective departments, please do not
use them. The teletype code will show the name of the individual they were
issued to and cause the records to be incorrect. Please return them as soon
as possible.
If we cannot recover the above mentioned cards, we will have to go to the
trouble of locking the cards number out of the computerized pumps and there
are a limited amount of number combinations we can lock out.
Thanks for your cooperation.
