A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A VARIANCE
UPON THE APPLICATION OF GEORGE D. AHAMNOS
The Planning CommisSion of the City of Tustin, California
resolves as follows'
Section l: The Planning Commission of the City
of Tustin finds and determines that a proper application for variance

was filed by GEORGE D. AHAMNOS, for the granting of a variance to
permit an 8 ft. setback on the ground floor, and a 5 ft. setback on
the second floor from the alley at the rear of Lots 6 and 7, at
340-360 Second Street, Tustin, California, and more particularly
described as Lots 6 and 7 of Tract 3994, City of TuStin, California.
~ction 2' The Planning Commission of the City
of Tustin duly called a public meeting on the proposed variance
for September ll, 1961, at 7'30 o'clock, P.M., in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, Tustin, California, all in accordance with
Ordinance No. 71 of the City of Tustin, as amended, and said
hearing was duly held, and at said meeting no protests to the grant-
ing of the said variance were heard or received.
Section 7: The Planning Commission of the~
City of Tust'in further finds and determines that practical
difficulties and unnecessary harda~ps will result from strict
compliance with Ordinance No. 71, as amended, as it relates to
said property, unless the variance requested be granted; and in
particular it is found and determined that there were exceptional
circumstances and conditions applicable to the said property
and the intended use thereof that do not generally apply to
property or classes of use in the same zone; that such variances
was necessary for the preservation of a substantial right of the
applicants, in that said property could not otherwise be fully
and properly utilized; and that the granting of such variance
will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the
property or improvements in the zone or district where the
property is located, due to the type of variance applied for by
the applicants, as set forth in said application, to which
reference is hereby made.
Section 4: The variance applied for is
hereby granted to permit building to be constructed within 8
feet on the ground floor and 5 feet on the second floor from the
alley at the rear of Lots 6 & 7, as more fully shown on plot
plan heretofore filed with the clerk of the commission, and as
set forth in variance spplication on file.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of
the City of Tustin, at a regular meeting thereof held on
September 11, 1961.
