HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 537RESOLUTION NO. 537 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN RELATIVE TO A PROPOSED USE BY WESTERN STATE WOODWORKING The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, Cal~.fornia, does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, Western State Woodworking Company and Larry Splinter have made request of the Pl~ning Commission to expand their building and use at 13922 Newport Avenue, Tustin, and WHEtlEAS, they are operating at said address a cabinet shop and desire to construct an additional building on said premises for the purpose of expanding said use, and, WHEREAS, said property iJ located in the C-1 zone, which does not enumerate a cabinet shop as one of the permitted uses, NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission finds pursuant to Ordinance No. ?! that the proposed building and use is in the judgment of the Planning Commission similar to and not more objec- tionable than any of the uses enumerated in Section 10, and finds that said proposed use is allowable. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, at a regu].ar m~eting thereof on the 15th day May, 1961.
