A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING ZONING
CHANGES AND ESTABLISHING BUILDING LINE SETBACK
REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY
OF TUSTIN.
WHEREAS, the owners of the real property described
hereinafter have filed an a~plicat~on requesting t~at s~id
property be rezoned from M-1 to C-2, all in accordsnce with
Ordinance No. 71 of the City of Tustin, ss ~mended~ and
WHEREAS, the Planning Com~isslon of the City of Tustin
has duly given notice of a time and place for a Dublic hearing
before the Planning Commission concerning s~id rezoning and
building line requirements, ~11 in accordance with Ordinance
No. ?~ of the City of Tust~n, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a ~ublic hearin~ w~s duly held on M~ 25. 1959,
at 7:45 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Tustin Cit~ ~all,
to hear objections to and to consider the rezoning and establish-
ment of building lines on that certain real property more p~rticu-
larly described hereinafter;
NOW, T~!EREFORE, the Planning CommisSio~ of the City of
T~stin does resolve as follows:
Section 1. The Planning Commission f~nds~-that, public
necessity,~convenience, general welfare, and good zoning practice
require the changes in zoning and establishment of build~ng lines
on the hereinafter described property as hereinafter set forth:
FROM M-~ TO C-2~
That real property fronting on the South side of
First Street, between "H" Street and Newport Avenue~
more psrticularly described as follows:
Ail that portion of the City of Tustin bounded on
the West by "H" Street, on the North b~ East First
Street, on the So~theast by thirty foot in width~
S. P. R. H. Co's right-of-way and on the South by
the center line of Third Street, containing
approximately 16.60 acres of land.
Section 2. That the Planning Commission of the C~M
of Tustin respectfully recommends that the above described rea~
property be rezoned as above set forth and that the building line
setback requirements along that portion of said property fronting
on First Street, be 50 feet Southerly, measured at right angles,
from the surveyed center line of First Street~ all ~n acoordance
with a maD, which map is attached hereto, incoroorated herein,
marked Exhibit "A", and made a Dart hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the
City of Tustin, CaliforniA, at a regular adjourned meeting thereof
held on the 25th day of May, 1959.
