HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 504 RESOLUTION NO. 504 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN RECOMMENDING ZONING AND BUILDING LINE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TERRITORY WITHIN THE PROPOSED "SAMUEL TUSTIN ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN." WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin has duly held a public hearing to consider the zoning and building line requirements for the territory comprising the proposed '~amuel Tustin Annexation to the City of Tustin" in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 105 of the City of Tustin; and WHEREAS, J. L. McBride, City Engineer of the City of Tustin, has duly presented his report and recommendations concern- ing the proposed "Samuel Tustin Annexation to the City of Tustin" to the Planning Commission in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 105: NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does resolve as follows: Section 1. That the zones defined by Ordinance No. 71 of the City of Tustin, as amended, and the recommended boundaries of such zones and the building line requirements as recommended by the Planning Commission are show~n on a map attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and made a part of this resolution, with the following exceptions: (1) The set back indicated on said map from the easterly extension of the center line of 6th Street northerly to the existing city limits of the City of Tustin is eliminated, and there shall be no set back required at this location. (2) The 20 foot set back indicated on said map along Laguna Road northerly of the proposed new right of-way line of Laguna Road is increased fromm 20 feet to 30 feet along the entire length of Laguna Road within the territory proposed to be annexed. Said map and all the notations, references and other information shown thereon, shall be as much a part of - i - this resolution as if the matters and information set forth by said map were fully described herein; that the aforesaid zones and building lines with the two changes set forth herein are hereby recommended to the City Council of the City of Tustin as proper for adoption and applicable to the territory known as the "Samuel Tustin Annexation to the City of Tustin", if said territory is annexed to the Ciby of Tustin. PASSED AND 'ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin held on October 21, 1957.
