HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 26812 3 4 5 G 8 9 10 11 12 l3 14 15 IG ]7 1S L1 20 21 22 23 24 25 2G 27 28 RESOLUTION N0. 2681 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED LA COLINA - REDHILL FLOOD CONTROL CHANNEL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IS IN CONFORMANCE WITH TFIE TUSTIN AREA GENERAL PLAN. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: I. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows: A. That the County of Orange, Environmental Management Agency proposes to construct a reinforced concrete flood control channel within the City of Tustin on the La Colina - Redhill Channel for the purpose of improving drainage, and B. That 65402 of the California Government Code provides that a local agency shall not construct a public building or structure in any county or city, until the location, purpose, and extent of such activi ty has been reported upon as to conformity with the adopted general plan for the jurisdiction. C. That the Planning-Commission does hereby find that the proposed channel improvements are in conformity with the goals and policies as contained in the Open Space/Conservation and Safety Elements of the Tustin Area General Plan in that this improvement project 15 part of the "Master Plan of Drainage of the E1 Modena-Irvine Area", which was designed to adequately serve the needs of our community.
