APPROVAL OF MINUTES - FEBRUARY 5, 2001
REGULAR MEETING
It was moved by Doyle, seconded by Thomas, to approve
the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of February 5, 2001.
Motion carried 5-0.
APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT FOR HOUSING ENABLED
BY LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS (HELP) PROGRAM
FUNDING AND AUTHORIZATION TO INCUR
INDEBTEDNESS FOR HELP PROGRAM LOAN FUNDS
It was moved by Bone, seconded by Doyle, 1) to adopt the
following Resolution No. RDA 01-2 approving the
Agreement between the Agency and the California Housing
Finance Agency ("CHFA") for the allocation of $.1,150,000 in
Housing Enabled by Local Partnerships ("HELP") funds;
and 2) authorize the Community Redevelopment Agency to
incur the HELP Program loan indebtedness.

AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO

the Assistant City Manager to execute an amendment to the
Agreement extending the term of the Agreement for an
additional one-year period.

PARTICIPATION UNDER COUNTY OF ORANGE
APPLICATION FOR ALLOCATION OF MORTGAGE
CREDIT CERTIFICATES
It was moved by Bone, seconded by Thomas, to adopt the
following Resolution No. RDA 01-3 approving participation
in a Mortgage Credit Certificate Program in cooperation with
the County of Orange:
RESOLUTION NO. RDA 01-3 - A RESOLUTION OF THE
TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY,
ADOPTING A MORTGAGE CREDIT CERTIFICATE
PROGRAM IN COOPERATION WITH THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE

APPROVAL OF A DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT FOR THE COMMERCIAL
REHABILITATION OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE
VICINITY OF THIRD STREET AND EL CAMINO REAL
It was moved by Doyle, seconded by Thomas, to 1 ) Subject
to non-substantive modifications approved by the Executive
Director and Agency Counsel, authorize the Executive
Director to execute the DDA between the Tustin Community
Redevelopment Agency, and Philippe Izsak, Marta Escobar,
Charles C. Virzi and Patricia J. Virzi, as tenants in common
("OwnedDeveloper"), for rehabilitation of the commercial
properties located at 301-307 El Camino Real; and 2)
Appropriate $80,000.00 out of the Town Center
Redevelopment Project tax increment funds for the
rehabilitation of the commercial properties.
Motion carried 5-0.

ADJOURNMENT- Chair Worley adjourned the meeting at 9:22 p.m. The next regular
meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, March 5, 2001, at 7:00 p.m.
in the Council Chamber at 300 Centennial Way.
