HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA MINUTES 2000 02 07 MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA FEBRUARY 7, 2000 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Worley at 9:17 p.m. at the Council Chamber, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California. ROLL CALL Members Present: Tracy Wills Worley, Chair Jeffery M. Thomas, Chair Pro Tem Mike Doyle Jim Ports Thomas R. Director, Community Development Doug Anderson, Senior Project Manager Jim Draughon, Senior Project Manager Scott Reekstin, Acting Senior Planner Valerie Crabill, Chief Deputy City Clerk Approximately 60 in the audience REGULAR BUSINESS ( ITEMS I THROUGH 4 ) 1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - JANUARY 17, 2000 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of January 17, 2000. Motion carried 5-0. 2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to approve Demands in the amount of $1,234,751.88. Motion carried 5-0. 380-10 3. COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING AFFORDABILITY STRATEGY It was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to adopt the following Resolution No. RDA 00- 2: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 00-2 - A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE AFFORDABLE HOUSING STRATEGY FOR FISCAL YEARS 2000- 2001 TO 2009-2010 Motion carried 5-0. 650-05 Minutes - Redeveloprnent Agency February 7, 2000 - Page 1 4. PUBLIC HEARING: THE SECOND FIVE-YEAR IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR THE TOWN CENTER AND SOUTH CENTRAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT' AREAS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000-2001 TO 2004-2005 Christine Shingleton, Assistant Executive Director, stated that staff had received correspondence from the Public Law Center regarding the Five-Year Implementation Plan; and to provide adequate time for a formal response, staff requested that the matter be continued following closure of the public hearing. Chair Worley opened the public hearing at 9:19 p.m. There were no speakers and the public " hearing was closed. It was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to continue this item to the February 22, 2000 Redevelopment Agency meeting. Motion carried 5-0. 630-80 OTHER BUSINESS - None CLOSED SESSION - None ADJOURNMENT - Chair Worley adjourned the meeting at 9:19 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Tuesday, February 22, 2000, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at 300 Centennial Way.
