HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA MINUTES 2000 06 19 MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA JUNE 19, 2000 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Thomas at 7:25 p.m. at the Counci~ Chamber, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, Califomia. ROLL CALL Members Present: Jeffery M. Thomas, Chair Tracy Wills Wodey, Chair Pro Tem (left the dias at 7:25 p.m.) Mike Doyle Jim Potts Thomas R. Saltarelli Members Absent: None Recording Secretary: Pamela ~toker (Absent) Others Present: William A. Huston, Executive Director Lois Jeffrey, City Attorney George ~leffries, City Treasurer Elizabeth Binsack, Director of Community Development Steve Foster, Chief of Police Tim Sedet, Director of Public Works Ronald A. Nault, Finance Director Pat Sanchez, Director of Parks and Recreation Services Dana Kasdan, Engineering Services Manager Karen Petersen, Senior Planner Sam AItowaiji, Field Services Manager Bettie Correa, Senior Personnel Analyst Beverley White, Chief Deputy City Clerk Approximately 18 in the audience REGULAR BUSINESS (ITEMS 1 THROUGH 2) 1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - JUNE 5, 2000 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Ports, seconded by DoVle, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of June 5, 2000. Motion carried 4-0, Wodey absent. 2. AUTHORIZATION TO CONTINUE OPERATION FOR FISCAL 2000/2001 It was moved by Ports, seconded bY Do¥1e, to authorize the Executive Director to continue fiscal operations for 2000/2001 at an appropriation level not to exceed that of 1999/2000, until such time as the budget process can be completed. Motion carried 4-0, Worley absent. 330-50 OTHER BUSINESS - None CLOSED SESSION - None ADJOURNMENT - Chair Thomas adjourned the meeting at 7:25 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was sch/,eduled for Mo:~/Ty,~0, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at 300 Centennial Way. Staff responded that a report on the subject would be agendized at the next Council meeting. Tustin Women in Chamber of Cornmerce - Mayor Thomas commented on his attendance at a Tustin Women in Chamber event. Complaint Calls - Mayor Thomas remarked on a call he had received from a resident who complained about the length of time a dumpster had been parked in front of his residence and requested staff investigate the matter. ADJOURNMENT- Mayor Thomas adjourned the meeting at 7:25 p.m. The next regular meeting of the City Council was scheduled for Monday, July 3, 2000, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at 300 Centennial Way.
