REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
DECEMBER 6, 1999
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chair Worley at 10:22 p.m. at the Council Chamber, 300
Centennial Way, Tustin, California.

:].. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - NOVEMBER 15, 1999 REGULAR MEETING
It was moved by Thomas, seconded by Doyle, to approve the Redevelopment Agency
Minutes of November 1'5, 1999. '
Motion carried 5-0.
2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS
It was moved by Thomas, seconded by Doyle, to approve Demands in the amount Of
$1,418,813.81.
Motion carried 5-0.

3. SECOND FIVE-YEAR IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR THE TOWN CENTER AND
SOUTH/CENTRAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREAS
It was moved by Thomas,' seconded by Doyle, to continue this item to the January 17,
2000 meeting of the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency.

4. 1998-99 ANNUAL REPORT
It was moved by Thomas, seconded by Doyle, to receive and file the Annual Report for
1998-99.
Motion carried 5-0.
5. PURCHASE OF PROPERTIES AT 14741 AND 14751 NEWPORT AVENUE
It was moved by Thomas, seconded by Doyle, to (:1) adopt the following Resolution No.
RDA 99-3 certifying the Final Negative Declaration for acquisition of the properties at
14741 and 14751 Newport Avenue, (2) approve the Purchase and Sale Agreement by
and between Dennis S. Smith and the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City
of Tustin for the properties located at 14741 and 14751 Newport AVenue and
authorize the Assistant City Manager to execute said Agreement, (3) appropriate
$715,000.00 from the South Central Redevelopment Project Low and Moderate
Income Housing Set-Aside Fund to be used for acquisition of the subject property, and
(:4) authorize the Assistant City Manager to execute all escrow documents and enter
into a property management agreement for leasing, management and maintenance
of the subject properties, subject to approval by the City Attorney:

REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, CERTIFYING THE
FINAL NEGATIVE DECLARATION AS ADEQUATE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CEQA FOR
THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 14741 AND 14751 NEWPORT
AVENUE

ADJOURNMENT - Chair Worley adjourned the meeting at 10:22 p.m. The December 20,
1999, Redeve!opment Agency meeting was cancelled. The next regular meeting of the
· Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, January 3, 2000, at 7:00 p.m. in the
Council Chamber at 300 Centennial Way.
