REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chair Saltarelli at 8:15 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 300
Centennial Way, Tustin, California.

REGULAR BUSINESS (ITEMS 1 THROUGH 5 )
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - APRIL 20, 1998 REGULAR MEETING
It was moved by Ports, seconded by Thomas, to approve the Redevelopment Agency
Minutes of April 20, 1998.
Motion carried 5-0.
2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS
It was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to approve Demands in the amount of
$75,510.79.

3. AUTHORIZATION FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES - TAIT & ASSOCIATES
It was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to authorize the Assistant City Manager to
execute a Professional Services Agreement with TAIT & Associates subject to approval by
the City Attorney of the City's standard contract.

4. SOLICITATION OF OWNER PARTICIPATION IN CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN
THE PACIFIC CENTER EAST PLANNING AREA 2
It was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to authorize staff to transmit Statements of
Interest to property owners and business occupants for the area identified as Planning Area
2 of the Pacific Center East Specific Plan. 600-60

5. EXTENSION OF EXCLUSIVE AGREEMENT TO NEGOTIATE: FORD FAMILY TRUST
PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF SIXTH STREET AND EL CAMINO REAL
It was moved by Ports, seconded by Thomas, to authorize the Assistant City Manager to
execute a 90-day extension for the period of negotiations under the Exclusive Agreement to
Negotiate with DeBeikes Investment Company.

OTHER BUSINESS - None
CLOSED SESSION
Chair Saltarelli announced the Redevelopment Agency would convene in closed session pursuant
to Government Code Section 54956.8 to confer with the Agency's real property negotiator
regarding 120 - 250 Sixth Street, Tustin, California. The negotiating. parties were the Tustin
Community Redevelopment Agency and DeBeikes Investment Co. Instructions to the negotiator
concerned price and terms of payment.
ADJOURNMENT
Chair Saltarelli adjourned the meeting at 8:16 p.m. The next regular meeting of the
Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, May 18, 1998, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council
Chambers at 300 Centennial Way.
