HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA MINUTES 1997 02 03 MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA FEBRUARY 3, 1997 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Worley at 8:43 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California° ROLL CALL Members Present: Tracy Wills Worley, Chair -- Jeffery M. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - January 20, 1997 REGULAR MEETING Agencymember Potts announced he would abstain from voting on this item due to his absence from the January 20, 1997 meeting. It was moved by Doyle,. seconded by ThomaS, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of January 20, 1997o Motion carried 4-0, Potts abstained. 2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Doyle, seconded by ThomaS, to approve Demands in the amount of $56,807.44. Motion carried 5-0. 380-10 3. LEASE AGREEMENT FOR PARKING SPACES IN THE STEVENS SQUARE PARKING STRUCTURE AND WAIVER OF LEASE FEES; RALPH SANCHEZ It was moved by Doyle, seconded by Thomas, to authorize the Assistant City Manager to execute a lease agreement, to be prepared and approved by the City Attorney, for the use of a total of eighteen (18) parking spaces including an additional eight (8) parking spaces owned by the Agency in the Stevens Square Parking Structure for an indefinite time; and waive the fees for the lease of these spaces. Motion carried 5-0. 400-10 4. APPROVAL OF LEASE AGREEMENTS FOR THE TUSTIN FAMILY AND YOUTH CENTER (TFYC) It was moved by Doyle, seconded by Thomas, to approve subject lease agreements with Orange Children and Parents Together, Inc. (OCPT) and the Children's Bureau of Southern California (CBSC) for a portion of the Tustin Family and Youth Center, and authorize the Assistant City Manager to execute the lease agreements after their execution by the City Attorney. 400-10 Motion carried B-O. REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES Page 2, 2-3-97 OTHER BUSINESS - None CLOSED SESSION - None ADJOURNMENT Chair Worley adjourned the meeting at 8:44 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 1997, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 300 Centennial Way.
