HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA MINUTES 1997 05 05 MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA MAY 5, 1997 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Thomas at 7:58 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California. ROLL CALL Members Present: Jeffery M. Thomas, Chair Thomas R. Martin Pastucha, Field Services Manager Valerie Crabill, Chief Deputy City Clerk Dan Fox, Senior Planner Bettie Correa, Senior Personnel Analyst Approximately 15 in the audience REGULAR BUSINESS ( ITEMS I THROUGH 3 ) APPROVAL OF MINUTES - APRIL 21, 1997 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Potts, seconded by Saltarelli, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of April 21, 1997. Motion carried 5-0. 2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Potts, seconded by Saltarelli, to approve Demands in the amount of $346,206.23. Motion carried 5-0. 380-10 3. AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR DEMOLITION OF CASE SWAYNE BUILDING It was moved by Potts, seconded by Saltarelli, to adopt the following Resolution No. RDA 97-1 approving specifications for demolition of the building at 1021 East Edinger Avenue and authorizing the advertising of bids for the project: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 97-1 - A RESOLUTION OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ~ SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE DEMOLITION OF THE BUILDING' AT 1021 EAST ~ EDINGER AVENUE AND AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Motion carried 5-0. 400-45 OTHER BUSINESS - None CLOSED SESSION Chair Thomas announced that the Redevelopment Agency would convene in closed session with Agency counsel to confer about real property negotiations, specifically: 191-195 E. Main Street, Tustin; Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency and June and Martin Perfit; negotiations will concern price and terms of payment. REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES Page 2, 5-5-97 Chair Thomas adjourned the meeting at 7:59 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, May 19, 1997, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 300 Centennial Way.
