HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA MINUTES 1996 07 15 MINUTES ' REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA JULY 15, 1996 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Worley at 7:37 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California. ROLL CALL Members Present: Tracy Wills Worley, Chairperson Jeffery M. Thomas, Chairperson Pro Tem Mike Doyle Jim Potts Members Absent: Thomas R. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - JULY 1, 1996 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Thomas, seconded by Potts, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of July 1, 1996. Motion carried 4-0, Saltarelli absent. 2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Thomas, seconded by Ports, to approve Demands in the amount of $435,583.74. Motion carried 4-0, Saltarelli absent. 380-10 3. AWARD OF BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEWPORT FAMILY AND YOUTH CENTER (PROJECT NO. 100031) It was moved by Thomas, seconded by Potts, to award a contract for construction of the Newport Family and Youth Center, Project No. 100031, to Construct 1 One Corporation, Tustin, in..'the amount of $546,898.00, subject to approval of the contract requirements by the City Attorney and execution by the Executive Director; and appropriate $56,000.00 from the Redevelopment Agency South Central Project Area to cover additional services not included in the original scope of work. Motion carried 4-0, Saltarelli absent. 930-40 OTHER BUSINESS COMMERCIAL TRUCK ENFORCEMENT - TUSTIN RANCH ROAD Agencymember Potts requested the Police Department contact the California Highway Patrol regarding commercial truck enforcement on Tustin Ranch Road. CLOSED SESSION - None REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES Page 2, 7-15-96 ADJOURNMENT Chair Worley adjourned the meeting at 7:38 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, August 5, 1996, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 300 Centennial Way.
