REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN'COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
JANUARY 17, 1994
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Potts at 8:25 p.m.
at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - JANUARY 3, 1994 REGULAR MEETING
It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Thomas, to approve the
Redevelopment Agency Minutes of January 3, 1994.
Motion carried 5-0.
4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS
It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Thomas, to approve Demands in
the amount of $1,059,669.78.
Motion carried 5-0. 380-10
5. PARTICIPATION IN ORANGE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CONSORTIUM
It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Thomas, to authorize the
Agency Executive Director to join the Orange County Economic
Development Consortium.
Motion carried 5-0. 150-20
6. AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR FLOOR REPAIRS FOR THE
CLIFTON C. MILLER COMMUNITY CENTER
Christine Shingleton, Assistant Executive Director, reported the
Clifton C. Miller Community Center flooring was bubbling and the
leveling compound was lumpy beneath the flooring. Testing was
conducted on the floor and a water vapor emission was discovered
coming from beneath the existing slab floor. She said these
problems had made the flooring unsafe for public use and at the
recommendation of the City Attorney, the repairs must be bid per
public works procedure. She noted the improvements would be
partially funded through the City's insurance.
It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Thomas, to approve plans and
specifications and authorize advertisements for bids for floor
repairs for the Clifton C. Miller Community Center, subject to
final approval of the bid package by the City Attorney.

9. ADJOURNMENT
Chairperson Potts adjourned the meeting at 8:30 p.m. The next
regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for
Monday, February 7, 1994, 7:00 p.m., at the Council Chambers, 300
Centennial Way.
