HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA MINUTES 1994 02 22 MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA FEBRUARY 22, 1994 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Potts at 8:57 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California. ROLL CALL Members Present: Jim Potts, Chairperson Thomas R. Saltarelli, Chairperson Pro Tem Leslie Anne Pontious Charles E. Puckett Jeffery M. Thomas Members Absent: None Recording Secretary: Mary E. Wynn Others Present: William A. Huston, Exec. Dir./City Manager James G. Rourke, City Attorney Christine Shingleton, Asst. Executive Director W. Douglas Franks, Chief of Police Robert Ledendecker, Director of Public Works Ronald A. Nault, Finance Director Robert Ruhl, Field Services Manager Susan Jones, Recreation Superintendent Bettie Correa, Senior Personnel Analyst Gary Veeh, Water Operations Manager Doug Anderson, Transportation Engineer Anne Bonner, Associate Planner Irma Hernandez, Administrative Assistant Judi Rowland, Recreation Supervisor Randy Westrick, Recreation Supervisor Valerie Whiteman, Chief Deputy City Clerk Approximately 10 in the audience REGULAR BUSINESS ( ITEMS I THROUGH 4 ) 1 o APPROVAL OF MINUTES - FEBRUARY 7, 1994 REGULAR MEETING; AND FEBRUARY 9, 1994 ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Pontious, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of February 7 and ~'ebruary 9, 1994. Motion carried 5-0. 2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Pontious, to approve Demands in the amount of $57,623.57. Motion carried 5-0. 380-10 3. TUSTIN CIVIC CENTER - POLICE DEPARTMENT WEIGHT ROOM AWARD OF CONTRACT It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Pontious, to award the contract for the Police Department Weight Room to Irvine Engineering Corporation subject to final approval by the City Attorney, and authorize a transfer of funds from Asset Forfeiture to the Capital Project Fund in an amount not to exceed the project budget. Motion carried 5-0. 910-20 4 · AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR FLOORING REPAIR AT CLIFTON C · MILLER COMMUNITY CENTER It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Pontious, to award the contract for the flooring repair at the Clifton C. Miller Community Center to Flooring Concepts, subject to final approval of the contract by the City Attorney, and authorize a change order to HNTB, Project Manager, for preparation of the bid package, coordination of the bid advertisement, contract administration and inspection of the work. 930-10 Motion carried 5-0. REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES Page 2, 2-22-94 OTHER BUSINESS - None CLOSED SESSION - None ADJOURNMENT Chairperson Potts adjourned the meeting at 8:57 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, March 7, 1994, 7:00 p.m., at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way.
