CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Potts at 7:51 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California. 2. ROLL CALL ._ Members Present: Jim Potts, Chairperson Thomas R. Saltarelli, Chairperson Pro Tem Leslie Anne Pontious Charles E. Puckett Jeffery M. Thomas Members Absent: None Recording Secretary: Mary E. Wynn Others Present: William A. Huston, Exec. Dir./City Manager James G. Rourke, City Attorney Christine Shingleton, Asst. Executive Director W. Douglas Franks, Chief of Police Robert Ledendecker, Director of Public Works Ronald A. Nault, Finance Director Robert Ruhl, Field Services Manager Doug Anderson, Transportation Engineer Bettie Correa, Senior Personnel Analyst Susan Jones, Recreation Superintendent ValerieWhiteman, Chief Deputy City Clerk Approximately 15 in the audience 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - OCTOBER 4, 1993 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Thomas, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of October 4, 1993. ~ Motion carried 5-0. 4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Puckerr, seconded by Thomas, to approve Demands in the amount of $220,898.47. Motion carried 5-0. 380-10 5. COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING AFFORDABILITY STRATEGY It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Thomas, to continue this item to the November 1, 1993 Redevelopment Agency meeting. Motion carried 5-0. 6. OTHER BUSINESS A. COSMOPOLITAN APARTMENTS Chairperson Pro Tem Saltarelli requested a status report regarding the Cosmopolitan Apartments. Christine Shingleton, Assistant Executive Director, responded the purchasers of the Cosmopolitan Apartments, D & D ~' Development, had submitted a preliminary plan for ownership conversion of the site including significant building renovation and removal of approximately 85 dwelling units. Staff was reviewing the plan and working with the purchasers regarding right-of-way acquisition requirements along Newport Avenue. 7. ADJOURNMENT Chairperson Potts adjourned the meeting at 7:56 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, November 1, 1993, 7:00 p.m.,~the~il Chambers, 300 CentennialWay. ta Cm IRFERsON
