CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Pontious at 8:52 p.m. at the Tustin Area Senior Center, 200 South "C" Street, Tustin, California. 2. ROLL CALL Members Present: Leslie Anne Pontious, Chairperson Jim Potts, Chairperson Pro Tem Charles E. Puckett Thomas R. Saltarelli Members Absent: Jeffery M. Thomas Recording Secretary: Mary E. Wynn Others Present: William A. Huston, Executive Dir./City Manager James G. Rourke, City Attorney Christine Shingleton, Asst. Executive Director W. Douglas Franks, Chief of Police Robert Ledendecker, Director of Public Works Ronald A. Nault, Finance Director Rita Westfield, Asst. Dir./Comm. Development Dana Kasdan, Engineering Services Manager Bettie Correa, Senior Personnel Analyst Gary Veeh, Water Services Manager Susan Jones, Recreation Superintendent Doug Anderson, Transportation Engineer Becky Stone, Assistant Planner Valerie Whiteman, Chief Deputy City Clerk Approximately 60 in the audience 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - AUGUST 3, 1992 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Potts, to approve the __ Redevelopment Agency Minutes of August 3, 1992. Motion carried 4-0, Thomas absent. 4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Potts, to approve Demands in the amount of $91,182.02. Motion carried 4-0, Thomas absent. 380-10 5. REQUEST FOR WAIVER OF LEASE FEES FOR AGENCY'S INTEREST IN STEVENS SQUARE PARKING STRUCTURE Christine Shingleton, Assistant Executive Director, reported that the applicant, Rick Harrington, was requesting waiver of the lease fee required for participation in the Redevelopment Agency owned spaces located on the second floor of the Stevens Square parking structure. The applicant was required to utilize the parking structure in order to satisfy parking requirements for a proposed coffee house located at 425 E1 Camino Real. She stated that Agency Member Saltarelli suggested entering into a revocable license in lieu of a lease agreement making the applicant responsible for providing replacement parking if necessary. -- It was moved by Saltarelli, seconded by Potts, to waive the lease fees; and authorized the Executive Director to enter into a revocable license with the applicant. Motion carried 4-0, Thomas absent. 390-55 6.OTHER BUSINESS - None 7. ADJOURNHENT Chairperson Pontious adjourned the meeting at 8:57 p.m. The Agency had scheduled a Housing Set-Aside Fund workshop on Tuesday, September 8, 1992, 5:00 p.m., at the Tustin Area Senior Center. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES Page 2, 8-17-92 was scheduled for Tuesday, September 8, 1992, 7:00 p.m., at the Tustin Area Senior Center.
