HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA MINUTES 1992 10 05 MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA OCTOBER 5, 1992 1. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Pontious at 8:15 p.m. at the Tustin Area Senior Center, 200 South "C" Street, Tustin, California. 2. ROLL CALL Members Present: Leslie Anne Pontious, Chairperson i Jim Potts, Chairperson Pro Tem ! Charles E. Puckett Thomas R. Saltarelli Jeffery M. Thomas Members Absent: None Recording Secretary: Mary E. Wynn Others Present: William A. Huston, Executive Dir./City Manager James G. Rourke, City Attorney W. Douglas Franks, Chief of Police Robert Ledendecker, Director of Public Works Ronald A. Nault, Finance Director Rita Westfield, Asst. Dir./Comm. Development Dana Kasdan, Engineering Services Manager Dan Fox, Senior Planner Gary Veeh, Water Operations Manager Doug Anderson, Transportation Engineer Susan Jones, Recreation Superintendent Valerie Whiteman, Chief Deputy City Clerk Approximately 15 in the audience 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - SEPTEMBER 21, 1992 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Thomas, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of September 21, 1992. Motion carried 5-0. 4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Thomas, to approve Demands in the amount of $94,469.19. 380-10 Motion carried 5-0. 5. 1992-93 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BUDGET William Huston, Executive Director, reported that the Agency delayed adoption of its 1992-93 budget until it could Obtain information concerning the basis for the transfer of funds from the Agency to the City's general fund. He summarized the annual transfer of funds including the transfer from the water enterprise fund to the general fund; and funding the Code Enforcement position. Agency Members/staff discussion followed regarding Redevelopment Agency direct allocation costs; and scheduling a workshop. Agency Member Saltarelli questioned the Redevelopment Agency's direct allocation costs and requested additional information regarding percentage cost basis versus additive cost basis. It was moved by Saltarelli, seconded by Thomas, to continue this item to the October 19, 1992 meeting. Motion carried 5-0. 330-50 6. OTHER BUSINESS - None 7. ADJOURNMENT Chairperson Pontious adjourned the meeting at 8:25 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES Page 2, 10-5-92 for Monday, October 19, 1992, 7:00 p.m., at the Tustin Area Senior Center.
