CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Puckett at 9:25 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California° 2. ROLL CALL Members Present: Charles E. Puckett, Chairperson Leslie Anne Pontious, Chairperson Pro Tem Richard B. Edgar Jim Potts Earl J. Prescott Members Absent: None Others Present: William A. Huston, Executive Dir./City Manager James G. Rourke, City Attorney Mary E. Wynn, Recording Secretary/City Clerk Christine Shingleton, Asst. Executive Director W. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - APRIL 15, 1991 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Edgar, seconded by Pontious, to approve the i Redevelopment Agency Minutes of April 15, 1991. Motion carried 5-0. 4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Edgar, seconded by Pontious, to approve Demands in the amount of $266,102.62. Motion carried 5-0. 60 5. AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS - TUSTIN CIVIC CENTER EXPANSION/RENOVATION PROJECT Christine Shingleton, Assistant City Manager, reported that the Civic Center Expansion/Renovation Project was approved by the Building Official and City Engineer for bid release. The bid documents would be advertised for approximately 45 days with the scheduled bid opening date of June 24, 1991; construction beginning approximately August 1st; and a tentative completion date of May, 1993. It was moved by Pontious# seconded by Edgar, to approve plans and i specifications for subject project and direct the City Clerk to advertise for bids. Motion carried 5-0. 86B 6. DESIGN REVIEW 91-06 (305 EAST MAIN STREET) Christine Shingleton, Assistant City Manager, reported the Planning Commission had approved the architectural design for the project and staff recommended modifying Resolution No. RDA 91-08 allowing the applicant to proceed with plan check. It was moved by Edgar, seconded by Potts, to adopt the following modified Resolution No. RDA 91-08, approving Design Review 91-06: REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES Page 2, 5-6-91 RESOLUTION NO. RDA 91-08 - ARESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, CONDITIONALLY APPROVING DESIGN REVIEW 91-06 FOR SITE IMPROVEMENTS REQUIRED TO ESTABLISH A PRE- SCHOOL AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 305 EAST MAIN STREET Motion carried 5-0. 81 7. PROPERTY PENALTY TAX LITIGATION WITH THE COUNTY OF ORANGE It was moved by Edqar, seconded by Pontious, to approve the tentative agreement to settle for 22% Of tax penalties impounded between July 1, 1985 and June 30, 1989. Motion carried 5-0. 60 8. OTHER BUSINESS - None 9. ADJOURNMENT Mayor Puckett adjourned the meeting at 9:30 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, May 20, 1991, at 7:00 p.m. C~ES E.
