HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA MINUTES 1991 08 19 MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMIUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA AUGUST 19, 1991 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Puckett at 8:50 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California. 2. ROLL CALL Members Present: Charles E. Puckett, Chairperson Leslie Anne Pontious, Chairperson Pro Tem Richard B. Edgar Jim Potts Members Absent: Earl J. Prescott Others Present: William A. Huston, Executive Dir./City Manager James G. Rourke, City Attorney Mary E. Wynn, Recording Secretary/City Clerk Christine Shingleton, Asst. Executive Director Steve Foster, Captain, Police~Department Robert Ledendecker, Director 0f Public Works Ronald A. Nault, Finance Director Royleen White, Dir./Community & Admin. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - AUGUST 5, 1991 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Potts, seconded bv Pontious, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of August 5, 1991. Motion carried 4-0, Prescott absent. 4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Potts, seconded bv Pontious, to approve Demands in the amount of $58,027.51. Motion carried 4-0, Prescott absent. 60/380-10 5. AMAGANSET WAY STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS It was moved by Potts, seconded by Pontious, to authorize the City Council and City staff to administrate the Professional Services Agreement for the design, contract and construction of the Amaganset Way storm drain improvements. Motion carried 4-0, Prescott absent. 45/400-10 6. PUBLIC HEARING, 1991-92 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BUDGET Chairperson Puckett opened the public hearing at 8:50 p.m. There were no speakers on the subject and the public hearing was closed. Agency Member Edgar questioned if the design for construction of the intersection of Irvine Boulevard and Newport Avenue should be included in this budget. William Huston, Executive Director, replied that staff would submit a report addressing projected costs and time frame for that project. It was moved by Edqar, seconded by Potts, to adopt the following Resolution No. RDA 91-14: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 91-14 - A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE AGENCY BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING REVENUE OF THE AGENCY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1991-92 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES Page 2, 8-19-91 Motion carried 4-0, Prescott absent. 60/330-75 7.OTHER BUSINESS - None 8.
