1, CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hoesterey at'8:38 p.m. in
the City Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - MAY 2, 1988, REGULAR MEETING
It was moved by Kennedy, seconded by Edgar, to approve the Minutes of
the May 2, 1988, meeting. The motion carried 5-0.
4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $214,877.50
It was moved by Kennedy, seconded by Edgar, to approve subject demands
in the amount of $214,877.50. The motion carried 5-0.
5. DESIGN REVIEW 88-19 (AUTHORIZATION TO CONSTRUCT AN OVERHEAD CANOPY AT
13918-13922 NEWPORT AVENUE)
It was moved by Kennedy, seconded by Edgar, to adopt the following:
RESOLUTION NO. RDA 88-3 - A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING DESIGN REVIEW 88-19
TO AUTHORIZE CONSTRUCTION OF AN OVERHEAD CANOPY AT A COMMERCIAL PUMPING
FACILITY ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 13918-13922 NEWPORT AVENUE.
The motion carried 5-0.

7.CLOSED SESSION
Mayor Hoesterey announced that the Redevelopmerit Agency will recess to
Closed Session to confer with the City Attorney regarding potential
,.,,, initiation of litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c).
8. ADJOURNMENT
At 8:39 p.m., it was moved by Kennedy, seconded by Edgar, to recess to
the above Closed Session and thence to the next Regular Meeting on June
6, 1988, at 7:00 p.m. The motion carried 5-0.

9. FOLLOWING CLOSED SESSION
At 8:54 p.m., the Redevelopment Agency reconvened and, pursuant to the
recommendation of the City Attorney, concurred to authorize the City
Attorney's office to file an action in the Orange County Superior Court
against the County of Orange to recover the City of Tustin's share of
delinquent tax penalties for the past three years.
