CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hoesterey at 8:58 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California. 2. ROLL CALL Members Present: Ronald B. Hoesterey, Chairperson .' Ursula E. Kennedy, Chairperson Pro Tem Richard B. Edgar John Kelly Earl J. Prescott Members Absent: None Others Present: William A. Huston, City Manager James G. Rourke, City Attorney Mary E. Wynn, Recording Secretary Christine Shingleton, Director/Comm. Development Fred Wakefield, Acting Chief of Police Robert Ledendecker, Director of Public Works Royleen White, Director/Community & Adm. Services Ronald A. Nault, Finance Director Valerie Whiteman, Deputy City Clerk Susan Jones, Recreation Superintendent Approximately 20 in the audience 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - OCTOBER 19, 1988, ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Edqar, seconded by Kennedy, to approve the Minutes of October 19, 1988. The motion carried 5-0. 4. EXTENSION OF DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL NO. 87-33 FOR RETAIL CENTER AT 1101 EL CAMINO REAL AT NEWPORT AVENUE It was moved by Kennedy, seconded by Edqar, to approve the request for a 12-month extension of Design Review 87-33 by adoption of the following Resolution No. RDA 88-13: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 88-13 - A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZINGAN EXTENSION OF THE APPROVAL FOR DESIGN/SITE REVIEW 87-33 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A 25,281 SQUARE FOOT RETAIL SHOPPING CENTER AT 1101 EL CAMINO REAL Councilman Kelly asked what steps could be taken to force the owner to clean-up the subject property and requested that staff send a letter to that effect. Council concurred this would be included in the motion. The motion carried 5-0 81 5~ APPROVAL OF DEMANDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $200,636.10 It was moved by Edqar, seconded by Kennedy, to approve subject demands in the amount of $200,636.10. The motion carried 5-0. 60 6. TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT EDINGER AND DEL AMO AVENUE It was moved by Kennedy, seconded by Edqar, to authorize the Tustin City Council and City staff to administrate the contract and construction for the installation of traffic signals at the intersectionof Edinger and Del Amo Avenues. The motion carried 5-0. 60 7. GRANT OF EASEMENT TO THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY FOR SERVICE TO THE TUSTIN AREA SENIOR CENTER It WaS moved by Edqar, seconded by Kennedy, to approve a grant of easement to the Southern California Edison Company for service to the Tustin Area Senior Center and authorize Agency officers to execute.
