COMMISSION

The City Council will conduct interviews and appoint one (1) member to the Planning
Commission. The Planning Commissioner will serve until March 1, 2014 or until his/her
respective successor is appointed and qualified.
RECOMMENDATION:
1. Interview candidates;
2. Cast ballots to determine appointment; and
3. City Clerk to announce results.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
On September 4, 2012, the City Council set October 2, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. to conduct
interviews to fill the vacancy on the Planning Commission.
Planning Commission — One (1) vacancy, for term expiring March 1, 2014.
Following the oral interviews, the final step in the selection process is the completion of
the ballots by the City Council, and the City Clerk announcing results in open session.
