CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 8:55 p.m. by Chairman Greinke in the City Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California. 2. ROLL CALL Agency Members Present: Frank H. Greinke, Chairman Donald J. Saltarelti, Chairman Pro Tem Richard B. Edgar Ronald B. Hoesterey Ursula E. Kennedy Agency Members Absent: None Others Present: William A. Huston, Exec. Director/City Manager James G. Rourke, City Attorney Mary E. Wynn, Recording Secretary/City Cierk Donald D. Lamm, Com. Development DirectOr Charles R. Thayer, Chief of Police Robert S. APPROVAL OF MINUTES It was moved by Hoesterey, seconded by Edgar, to approve Minutes of the June 3, i985, Regular Meeting. The motion carried 5-0. 4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Edgar, seconded by Kennedy, to approve demands in the amount of $1,072,623.38 for the month of May, 1985, as recommended by the Finance Director. Motion carried 5-0. 60 5. BID AWARD - CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX PARKING LOT LIGHTING FIXTURES Bids for subject project were received on June 11, 1985, as follows: Laubach Electric, Garden Grove $19,910.00 Skips Electric, Fullerton $21,529.39 Roberrs Electric, Tustin $28,347.40 As recommended in the inter-com dated June 11, 1985, prepared by the Director of Public Works, it was moved by Edgar, seconded by Saltarellt, to award the contract for subject lighting improvements to Laubach Elec- tric, Garden Grove, in the amount of $19,560.00. (Bid Item No. 4 was deleted for a reduction of $350.) The motion carried 5-0. 39 6. DESIGN REVIEW & CONSIDERATION OF AGENCY PARTICIPATION - TUSTIN PLAZA SHOP- PING CENTER The staff report and recommendation were presented by the Community Devel- opment Director as contained in the tnter-com dated June 17, 1985, pre- pared by the Community Development Department. The Director also recom- mended that the Agency maintain the same right as Council that final building elevations come back for Agency review and approval of building plans. It was then moved by Saltarellt, seconded by Edgar, to concur with Carver Development'~"request for contribution up to $583,000; to direct staff to commence preparation of a development and disposition agreement (DDA) detailing the terms of assistance and obligation of the developer to con- struct the Tustin Plaza Shopping Center; to administer contracts for public works construction up to but no to exceed the requested amount; and to require Agency review and approval of final architectural elevations. BID AWARD - CITY HALL MODIFICATIONS As recommended in the inter-com dated June 17, 1985, prepared by the Community Development Department, it was moved by Edgar, seconded by, Saltarelli, to award the bid to Frank Ultimo Construction in the amount of $80,652 f*6r building modifications to the City Hall facility. Motion carried 5-0. 8. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 9:01 p.m. by unanimous informal consent to the next regular meeting on July 1, 1985, at 7:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN
