AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY r`F
TUSTIN AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 71 OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN AND REZONING AND ESTABLISHING BUILDING
LINES FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
TUSTIN,
The City Council of the City of Tustin does
ordain as follows:
WHEREAS, the owners of the real property d.es-
cribed hereinafter have filed an'application requesting
that said. property be rezoned from R-1 to R-3, all in
accordance with Ordinance No. 71 of the City of Tustin,
as amended; and
WHEREAS, said matter has been referred to the
Planning Commission of the City of Tustin and. the Planning
Commission has given due notice of the time and place for
public hearing, before the Planning Commission concerning
said change of zone and establishment of building lines
on the subject property;and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held on
February 8, 1960, before said Planning Commission, and the
rezoning and establishment of building; lines for that
certain real property hereinafter described as considered
by the Planning Commission, and the Planning Commission
having made certain findings and having recommended -to
the City Council that said property be rezoned from R-1'
to -R-3 and that the building lines affecting said property
be amende(.;.arid
WHEREAS, the City Council, after clue notice of
the time and place for public hearing before the City
Council, duly held a public hearing on the rezoning and
establishment of building lines for said property on
March 7, 1960; and
WHEI?EAS, all provisions of Ordinance No. 71,
as amended, relating to amendments thereto, have been
duly complied with; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines
that public necessity, convenience, general welfare, and
good zoning practice require the changes in zoning and
building line setbacks for said. property, as here-
inafter described;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of Tustin does ordain as follows:
Section l:: That that certain real property,
more particularly described as follows:
The Southeasterly one-half of Lot 32 -Irvine's
Subdiv;.sion, excepting therefrom portions of
Orange Avenue, San Juan Street and. La"una
Road.
Also the northwesterly one-fourth of Lot 31
of said.. Irvine's Subdivision lying northeasterly
of Laguna. Road and southwesterly of San Juan
Street.
Also, the northerly rectangular 10 acres
(661.4) x 660.6) of the southeasterly 3/4ths of
Lot 31, said Irvine's Subdivision, excepting
therefrom San Juan Street.
All of which property is also known as "High
School Annexation" and "High School Annexation
No. 2" to the City of Tustin..•
be and the same is hereby rezoned. from R-1 to R-3, and
Ordinance No. 71, as amended.., is further amended as
above set forth, all in accordance with a. map, which

map is attached hereto, incorporated herein and marked
"District Zoning and Building Line Map, Plat No. 14-A "
And.made a part Hereof. The buij;ding Line requirements
for the property hereinabove described are set forth on a
map referred to herein, Find said map is ma.d.e a part of this
Ordinance as if the matters and information set forth .on
said map were fully described herein. It is the intention
of the City Council of the City of Tustin that the printed
map referred to hereinabove shall prevail over the written
descripticnin the event of conflict.
.Section 2: The City Clerk shill certify
to the adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause
the same to be published once, within fifteen days
after its adoption, in the Tustin flews, a weekly news-
paper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in�..,the City of 'T Lu tin,,_
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council
of the City of Tustin at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 21st day of March, 1960

number of membe-s of the City Council of the City

Ordinance was duly and regularly introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Tustin, held on the 7th day of March, 1960,
and was duly passed and adopted at a rei,-1-ular meeting
of the City Council held on the 21st day of "larch,
1960, by the following vote;
