HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA MINUTES 1983 10 17 MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA OCTOBER 17, 1983 1, CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hoesterey at 7:59 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California. 2. ROLL CALL Agency Members Present: Ronald B. Hoesterey, Chairman Ursula E. Kennedy, Chairperson Pro Tem Richard B. Edgar Donald J. Saltarelli Agency Members Absent: Frank H. Grei nke Others Present: James G. Rourke, City Attorney William A. Huston, Exec. Director/City Manager Mary E. Wynn, Recording Secretary/City Clerk Donald D. Lamm. Com. Development Director Ronald A. Nault, Director of Finance Charles R. Thayer, Chief of Police Robert S. Ledendecker, Director of Public Works Royleen A. White, Dir. of Com. & Admin. Services Jeff Kol in, Recreation Superintendent Approximately 25 in the audience 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES It was moved by Saltarelli, seconded by Edgar, to approve the minutes of the October 5, 1983, meeting. Carried 3-0, Hoesterey abstained Greinke absent. ' 4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Saltarelli, seconded by Kennedy, to approve General Demands in the amount of $667,872.24 for the month of September, 1983, as recommended by the Director of Finance. Motion carried 4-0, Greinke absent. 81 5. OTHER BUSINESS Councilman Edgar requested details on Fiscal Year 1982-83 expenditures for capital improvements, i.e., the details which lead to the cash balance in both the debt service fund and the capital improvement projects fund, to be provided at the November I workshop. Mayor Hoesterey interjected that the purpose of the workshopis not budgetary, but more a policy and future projects meeting to guide staff in setting up an action plan for expendi- ture of the bond money that must be obligated within approximately two years. 6. ADJOURNMENT At 8:02 p.m., it was moved by Hoesterey, seconded by Edgar, to adjourn to a Redevelopmerit Agency workshop on November 1, 1983, at 7:00 p.m., and thence to the next Regular Meeting on November 7, 1983. Carried 4-0, Greinke absent.
