WHEREAS, the City of Tustin desires to implement the transportation
improvements listed in Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tustin has been declared by the Orange County
Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M "Fair
Share" funds; and
WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent with the County of
Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tustin will provide matching funds for each project as
required by the Orange County Comprehensive Transportation Program Procedures
rN Manual; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate
funds for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the
County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tustin will not use Renewed Measure M funds to
supplant Developer Fees or other commitments; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tustin will use Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Funding as
a supplement to the existing pavement management program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tustin
that it hereby requests the Orange County Transportation Authority allocate funds in the
amounts specified in the City's applications to said City from the Comprehensive
Transportation Funding Programs. Said funds shall be matched by funds from said City
as required and shall be used as supplemental funding to aid the City in the
improvement of the streets included in Exhibit A.

meeting on the 6t" day of November, 2012.
