Following the Planning Agency meeting, the City Council meeting was called
to order at 8:49 P.M. by Mayor Schuster.

ROLL CALL
Present: Councilpersons: Schuster, Saltarelli, Sharp, Kennedy, Welsh
Absent: Councilpersons: None
Others Present: Dan Blankenship, City Administrator
Alan Burns, Deputy City Attorney
Alan Warren, Assistant Planner
Mary E. Wynn, Chief Deputy City Clerk

PROCLAMATION A Proclamation was read by Mayor Schuster and presented to Mr. Thomas
Tallman, a representative for the Kiwanis Club.
IV.
RECESS
Proclamations for the Lung Association of Orange County and the Boy's Club
of Tustin are to be mailed as there were no representatives present to
receive them.
It was moved by Sharp, seconded by Saltarelli, to recess to the Redevelopment
Agency at 8:55 P.M. Carried unanimously.

3. Approval of Minutes of April 2, 1979 meeting.

It was moved by Welsh, Seconded by Kennedy, to approve the Minutes of
the April 2, 1979 meeting. Carried unanimously.
4. It was moved by Welsh, seconded by Kennedy, to adjourn at 8:56 P.M. to
the next regular meeting on May 7, 1979. Carried.

EXCESSIVE RENT RAISES
Therese C. Simmons, 15941 Myrtle Avenue, spoke about excessive raises in
rent with her landlord refusing to make any improvements.
