RECOMMENDATION: 1. Confirm the attached appointments as recommended by the Mayor 2. Adopt Resolution No. 12 -111 entitled: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, Designating Its Representative and Alternate to the Orange County Fire Authority's Board Of Directors; 3. Approve FPPC Form 806: Agency Report of Public Official Appointments FISCAL IMPACT: None. BACKGROUND: Mayor Murray has requested that this item be placed on the agenda in order that he can make appointments to the City and Regional committees on which members of the City Council will serve. Attached is the list of committees and agencies requiring appointments and the representative assigned by the Mayor. Per the Orange County Fire Authority's Joint Powers Agreement, the appointed Director and Alternate Director to the Fire Authority's Board of Directors are to be designated by a Resolution, which approval will require a recorded majority vote of the total membership of the City Council. Attached for your consideration is the Resolution which will designate the appointees for Director and Alternate Director to the Orange County Fire Authority's Board of Directors. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby designate Mayor Al Murray as a Director and Mayor Pro Tern Charles E. "Chuck" Puckett as Alternate to the Orange County Fire Authority Board of Directors.
