1. PRIORITIES FOR REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Report presented by Mr. W. Fredriksen, Chairman,
Citizens Advisory Committee.
Mr. T. Kelly, E1 Camino Real businessman, requested
that in evaluation of bids for City property, Council
strongly consider commercial, that some assurance be
given that E1 Camino Real not be tied up for months
when storm drain being installed and that property
owners in downtown area be forced to install side-
walks and hook up to sewers and that a survey be
made of all property for conditions such as trash, etc.
Council discussed commitments needed to go to bond,
capital outlay long range planning, selling downtown
site to Redevelopment Agency, bond timeframe, need
for program before going to bond, target date of
August 1 for all research completion and putting
project in order.
Moved by Edgar, seconded by Schuster that matter be
a~endized for next regular meeting with target of
August 1, 1977, for commitment and final plans.
Carried.
2. REQUEST FOR SIGN EXEMPTION
Moved by Schuster, seconded by Edgar, that request
be approved with conditions as set forth by Council
action. Carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was
declared adjourned.
