The meeting was called to order by Chairman Saltarelli at 8:01 P.M. 2. Present: Members: Saltarelli, Sharp., Kennedy, Welsh Absent: Members: None 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES of January 7, 1980 meeting. It was moved by Kennedy, seconded by Welsh, that the minutes of the January 7, 1980 meeting be approved. Carried 4-0. 4. FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF SIXTH STREET EXTENSION TO NEWPORT AVENUE RESOLUTION NO. RDA 80-1 A Resolution of the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Tustin ACCEPTING WORKS OF IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING RECORDATION OF NOTICE OF COMPLETION It was moved by Sharp, seconded by Kennedy, that Resolution No. RDA 80-1 be passed and adopted. Carried 4-0. 5. It was moved by Sharp, seconded by Kennedy, to adjourn at 8:04 P.M. to the next regular meeting on February4, 1980. Car~ed. // I. PUBLIC CONCERNS MEETING OF TUSTIN CITY COUNCIL RECONVENED AT 8:04 P.M. January 21, 1980 RESOLUTION REGARDING PRICE MARKING OF GROCERIES Helen Edgar, 13622 Loretta Drive, called the attention of the Council to an article in the paper regarding a resolution that was passed by the City of Garden Grove that all grocery stores would mark the price on their gro- ceries. She asked that the Council investigate what other cities are doing regarding this to help determine if Tustin should adopt such a resolution. CARS "FOR SALE" PARKED IN A "NO PARKING" AREA ON 17th STREET Mrs. Edgar reported 7 cars with "For Sale" signs on them parked in a "No Parking" area east on 17th St. just west of Skaggs Drug Store. Chief Thayer said he would investigate and take appropriate action. TRUCKS AND MOVING VANS P~RKED IN AN ABANDONED SHELL STATION ON SYCAMORE AND NEWPORT Mrs. Edgar reported that 6 to 10 trucks and moving vans park in the Shell Station next to the hospital and she asked if fences could be put up to keep the trucks out of the station as was done at the Arco Station. Councilman Welsh responded that the entire station had been torn down prior to last Sunday. STUDY ON ODORS AT DYNACHEM FACILITY Ronald Hoesterey, 2251 Caper Tree, asked when the report on the Dynachem Facility would be released to the public as he had had several residents inquiring about it.
