AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
ACCEPT'�NG AND APPROVING"ANDREVR. MORRIS
ANNEXATION TO 7JSTIN. "
The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain
AHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Title 4, Division 2,
Part 3, Chapter 1, Articles 1 and 5 of the Government Code of the
State of California, the following things have been done: A written
petition signed by more than 2% of the owners of the area and
assessed valuation as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of
Orange County requesting annexation to the City of Tustin was presented
to the City Council on August 13;1956; that the territory described in
said petition was approved by the 13oundary Commission of the County
of Orange on or about August 13, 1956; that no part of the subject territory
is zoned and restricted for agricultural purposes exclusively; that the
City Council of the City of Tustin by RESOLUTION NO. 397 regularly
passed on the 13th day of August, 1956, designated the area proposed
for annexation as the "Andrew R. Morris Annexation to Tustin" and set
the date of September 24, 1956; at 7;45 o'clock P. M. for the hearing
of protests to be made by any person owning real property within the
area of the proposed annexation; that notice of said hearing was duly
given as required by law; that there are less than twelve registered
voters living within said territory; that at the hearing held on
September 24, 1956, pursuant to the provisions of RESOLUTION NO. 397,
there were no protests from owners of property within the territory
proposed to be annexed; that all things required to '.be done by law have
been done:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That the annexation of that certain
uninhabited territory contiguous to the City of Tustin designated
as "Andrew R. Morris Annexation to Tustin", be, and the same is hereby
approved and annexed to the City of Tustin. Said territory is
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of

Second Street and Glen Avenue (also known as Tustin Ave.)
as shown on a map of Block "B", Bundyts Addition to Tustin, record-
ed in Book 3, page 5, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, said intersection being an angle point
in the boundary line of the City of Tustin; thence Northerly
along the center line of Tustin Avenue (66 feet in width)
and the Northerly prolongation thereof, to an intersection
with the North line of First Street (80 feet in width);
thence Westerly along the Northerly line of First Street
to the beginning of a curve tangent, concave Northeasterly;
thence Northwesterly along said tangent curve, having a
radi of 50.0? f et throw h an angle of 890 52, 15'x, an
arc H2stance of 7 -4feet o a tangent line, said line beim
parallel with and 50.66_:t,sterly, measured at right angles
from the center line of Tustin Avenue; thence Northerly
along said parallel line 450.11 feet to a point; thence
Easterly, parallel with the center line of First Street
537.96 feet to an intersection with the East line of that
certain Southwest 19.00 acre parcel shwon on a map of Felipe
Yorba Tract, recorded in Book L{., page 206, Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County., California; thence South 000
141 15" East along the East line of the above mentioned 19.00
acre parcel 80.46 feet to an iron pipe marking the Southwest
corner of the land described as Parcel l in the deed to M.
Gladys Watson, recorded August 10, 1945, in Book 1323,
page 442 of Oficial Records of Orange County; thence South
890 52T 45" East along the South line of M. Gladys Watson
Parcel 1 above mentioned 430.20 feet to a point, said.point
being 158.00 feet Westerly from the East line of said Felipe
Yorba Tract; thence South 00 10t 30" Fast, arallel to the
East line of said Felipe Yorba Tract, 101.68 feet to a point;
thence North 890 51► 45" East, parallel to the center line
of First Street, 178.00 feet to an intersection with the
center line of Yorba Street (50 feet in width, formerly
40 feet in width), as shown on a map of Tract No. 396, recorded
in Book 16, page 10, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, said center line of Yorba Street being
the boundary line of the City of Tustin; thence Southerly,
Westerly, Southerly and Westerly, following the boundary line
of the City of Tustin, to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the
City Clerk shall attest thereto and certify to the passage of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once
in the Tustin News, a weekly newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Tustin; and
said Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from its
final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Tustin at an adjourned regular meeting held on the lst day
of October, 1956.

The above and foregoing; Ordinance was duly
and regularly introduced -at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Tustin held on the 24th day
of September, 1956, and was duly passed and adopted at
an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council held
on the lst day of October, 1956, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Kidd, Byrd, Bacon, Humeston & Tadlock
NOES: Councilmen., None
ABSENT: Councilmen None
