ORDINANCE N0*101
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,, CALIFORNIA
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING "CLAUS ANNEXATION TO
TUSTIN".
The City Council of,the City of Tustin does ordain as
follows-.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Title 4, Division
2, Part 3. Chapter 11 Articles l,and 5 of the Government Code of
the State of California, the f oll owing, things have been done: A
written petition signed by all of the, owners of the area and assessed
valuation as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of Orange
County requesting annexation to the City of Tustin was presented to
the City Council on April 90 1956; that the territory described
in said petition had been approved by the Boundary Commission of
the County of Orange on or about April 2. 1956; that no part of
the subject territory, is zoned and restricted for agricultural
purposes exclusively; that the City Council of the City Council
of the City of Tustin by' Resolution No. .385regularly passed on
the 9th. day of April.,. 1956,,described the area proposed for annex-
ation as "Claus .Annexation ._to Tustin't and set the date of May 14,
1956, at 7:30 ofBlock. -P.M. for - the. hearing. of protests to be made
by any person owning real property within .the area of the proposed
annexation; that notice of said hearing was duly given as required
by law; that there are less than twelve registered voters living
within said territory; that at the hearing held May 14.- 1956, pur-
suant to the provisions of Resolution No. 385 there were no pro-
tests from owners of property within the territory proposed to be
annexed; that all things required to be done by law have been done:
NOW,, THEREFORE, .the,City Council of the City of Tustin
does ordain as follows,:
Section 1, That the annexation of that certain unin-
habited territory contiguous to the City of Tustin designated
as "Clause Annexation to Tustin't be,, and the same is hereby approved
and annexed to the City of Tustin. Said territory is described as
follows:
Beginning�at the Northeast corner of Lot'? in Block 42s,
as shown on a Map of a.Part of Tustin recorded in Book 13,
page 81.. Miscellaneous Aecords of Los Angeles County, California
said beginning being an angle point in the boundary line
description of the City offustin.
Thence Westerly along the Northerly line of said Lot
7 in Block 42 and along the Westerly prolongation thereof a
distance of 167-50 feet to the center line of "Elt Street as
shown on said mapt also being angle point in city boundary.
Then Northerly along the center line of said "Eff Street
a distance of 150,00 feet ' to the Westerly prolongation of the
Northerly line of said Block 420
Thence Easterly along said Westerly prolongation and
continuing along the North Line' of Lot 1 of said Block 42
a distance of 167-50 feet to the Northeast corner 'of Lot 1
of said Block 42.
'Thence Southerly along lot lines a distance of 150.00
feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2, The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the
City Clerk shall attest thereto and certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the
Tustin News,, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in the City of Tustin; and said ordinance
shall take effect thirty days from its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tustin
at its regular meeting hold on the 28th day of May, 1956.

The above and foregoing Ordinance was duly and regularly
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Tustin,held on the 14th day of May, 1956, and was duly passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 28th
dAy'6f.May,,..lq,56.. by, the following vote:
