AN, ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING PANKEYIS ANNEXATION
TO TUS TIN
. The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain
as follows:
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Title 40
Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 1, Articles 1 and 5 of the
Government Code of the State of California, the following
things have been donet A written ' pe ti tion signed by owners
of more than` one-fourth of the area' and- assessed valuation.
as shown,on the last equalized assessmentrola of Orange
County requesting sa.nexation, to the City of Tustin was pre-
sented to the City:Council on February 27, 1956; that the territory
described in said petition had been approved by the Boundary coin -
mission of -the County of Orange on February 6, 1956; that no part
of the subject` territory is zoned and restricted for agricultural
purposes exclusively; that the City Council of the City of Tustin
by Resolution No. 381 regularly passed on the 27th day of February,
1956,•deseribed the area proposed for annexation as Pankeyts Annex-
ation to Tustin, and set the date of April 9a 1956, dt>7.30 ovelock
P.M. for the hearingPof protests to be made by any person owning
real property within the area of the proposed annexation; the City
Council of the City of Santa Ana on or about March 19, 1956 approved
the proposed annexation as -required under the provisions of Government
Code Section 3530}.5;, that._the.re are less than .twelve registered
voters living within said territory; that at the hearing held April
q, 1956s pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 381, there
were no protests from owners of more than one-half of the value of
theterritory proposed to be annexed as shown on the last equalized
tax assessment roll of the 'County of Orange,
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Tustin
does ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the annexation of that certain un-
inhabited territory contiguous to the City of Tustin designated
as Penkoyts Annexation to Tustin be, and the same is hereby
approved and annexed to the City of Tustin. Said territory is

Beginning at a point in the center line of
Newport Avenue, distant thereon 30.00 feet North-easterly
from the Westerly corner of Block 12, .as shown. on a map of
"Irvinefs Subdivision" recorded in Book 1 page 88, Miscellaneous
-Maps, records of Orange County, California, ' ni.d point of
beginning being the mostnEasterly corner of , the City of Tustin;
thence- Southeasterly along the Northeasterly right` of way line
of Laguna Avenue,'as described in "Deed - State Highway"y from
Mar y Tustin, at al, to State of California, as recorded in Book
258, page 364 of Deeds, records of Orange County, California,
to the Northwesterly line of Lot.31, in Block 12 of said Irvinele
Subdivision above mentioned, thence Southeasterly, along the
Vortheasterly right of gray line of "Frontage Roads , as conveyed
by deed,from Edgar Edward Pankey at ux, to the State of
California, recorded in Book 282., pages 523 thru 526, Official
Records of Orange County., California; the following courses and

east, having. a radius of 772,00 feet, through an angle of 170

Section 2, The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the
City Clerk shall attest thereto and,certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Tustin
News, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in the City of Tiz tin, and said ordinance shall take
effect thirty days from, its final passage.
PASSED AND ADDPTED by the City Council of the City of Tustin
at its regular meeting held on the 23rd day of April, 1956.

The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain

as follows:

I^THEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Title 4,

Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 1, Articles 1 and 5 of the

Government Code of the State of California, the following

things have been done: A written petition signed by owners

of more than one-fourth of the area and assessed valuation

as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of Orange

County requesting annexation to the City of Tustin was pre -

the Boundary Commission of the County of Orange on February

and restricted for agricultural purposes exclusively; that

the City Council of the City of Tustin by Resolution No.

381 regularly passed on the 27th day of February, 1956,

described the area proposed for annexation as Pankey's

Tustin does ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the annexation of that certain

designated as Pankey's Annexation to Tustin be, and the
same is hereby approved and annexed to the City of Tustin.
Said territory is described as follows:
