Division 2# Part 3s Chapter ls Articles l.and of the e Govern- ment Code of the State Of''Californias the following,things have been done*- B R. Gentry submitted_a-,Petition for the an- nexation of certain territory herei nafter described; by Re- solution No, 329'regularly passed.on..the 19th day of January, 1953, the territory described in the, ,P�atition for annexation was designated as "B. R. Gentry Annexation" and the date of March 2s 1953, at 70*30 o'clock P. M. was s0t for the hearing Of Protests to be made by any person owning. real property with- in the ithinthe Property subject of the annexation;, that the Boundary Commission of Orange County., California,, at a gleeting held January 19, 1953, approved the boundriez of -the proposed an- nexation; that the City council of the I C itY of` .Santa Ana by, action taken on February 16. ,,1953., approved the. proposed an- nexation as required under the provisions of Government Code Section 35304.5; that the City Council..Of the City of Orange by action taken on February 24s 1953, approved the proposed annexation as required under the provisions of Government Code Section 35304.5; that there are less than twelve regis- tered voters living . within said property the subject of the proposed annexation; that at the hearing -held March 2, 1953, pursuant to the I provisions of Resolution No. 329 there were no protests made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS2 B. R. Gentry2 owner of all of the prop- erty Proposed to be annexed, has entered into an agreement with the City of Tustin whereby he has covenanted and agreed to comply with I the zoning regulation of the City of Tustin as they may be in effbeton April ls 1957., within a period Of four years from the date of this Ordinances and in said agreement 417 said B. Gentry in consideration of the annexation of the property to the City of Tustin agreed to cease and terminate all and any such activities and uses .of his property which would at the end of said four year peri_od_: be in conflict with the boning regulations then. in _force wi:thin..said. City of Tus- tin. NOW, "'TAEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, do ordain as follows Section 1. That the annexation of that certin un- inhabited territory contiguous to the-City_of Tustin designa- ted as "B. R. Gentry Annexation" be and the -same hereby is ap- proved upon the terms contained in the hereinabove mentioned agreement executed between B. R. Gentry and the.City of Tustin under the date of March 16, 1953• Said territory is described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot'7 in j! Block 42 as shown. on a "Map of a Part of Tustin recorded in Book 13 on page. 81, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California. Thence Westerly along._ the northerly line of said Lot 7 in Block 42 and along the westerly prolon- gation thereof a distance. of 167.50 feet to the center line of "E" Street as shown on said map, said center line of "0' Street being the easterly boundry fine of the , City of Tustin. Thence southerly along-the_,center line of said "E" Street and along the easterly boundry line of the City. of Tustin,, to the. westerly prolonga- tion of the southerly line of.Lot 11 in Block 42 of said map. Thence easterly along the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of said.. Lot 11, apd along the southerly line of said Lot 11 a distance of 167.50 feet to the southeast cornet thereof. Thence northerly along lot lines to the north- east corner of Lot 7 in Block 42 of said map to the point of beginning. Section 2. The Mayor..shall_.sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall attest thereto and certify to the passage f of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Tustin News, weekly ,newspaper of.general circulation , printed, published and circulated in. th.e...City of Tustin, and said Ordiance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its final passage. , PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tustin at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of April, 1953.
