Why should the City annex Brittany Woods?
The residential character of the neighborhood is
similar to nearby Tustin residential neighborhoods.
Accomplish Tustin General Plan Land Use goals to:
• Annex certain areas in North Tustin to establish
more logical City boundaries; and,
• Pursue opportunities for greater efficiency in
service delivery, and maintenance of quality of
life for Tustin residents.
• Accomplish a long-term City and County of Orange
(LAFCO) goal for the area to be incorporated into the
City, connecting communities that are separated only
by jurisdictional lines.
• Establish a logical City boundary
• Provides Brittany Woods' neighborhood citizens a
voice in Tustin's future and increased local
government representation.
r
• Increase the City's population and increase the City's
ability to obtain grant funding

2nd Unit Ordinance For Old Town Tustin
Issues:
Following the appeal process for 520Pacific Street,
community consensus that existing second units should be
allowed in Old Town.
Deed restrictions established under existing code for
approved "Guest House" applications often ignored, or later r
converted to an illegal unit.
Some community interest in allowing limited rentals in the
area.
