Binsack, Zoning Administrator PUBLIC CONCERNS: (Limited to 3 minutes per person for items not on the agenda) CONSENT CALENDAR: No Items on Consent Calendar PUBLIC HEARING: 1. MINOR ADJUSTMENT 2013-001: A request to increase the maximum height of a block wall on the south east side by twenty (20) percent and to reduce the front/street side setback by ten (10) percent. APPLICANT: CHRISTINA QUINTERO SCHOOLSFIRST FEDERAL CREDIT UNION 14452 NEWPORT AVENUE TUSTIN, CA 92780 PROPERTY OWNER: SCHOOLSFIRST FEDERAL CREDIT UNION 14452 NEWPORT AVENUE TUSTIN, CA 92780 LOCATION: 1200 EDINGER AVENUE ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: THIS PROJECT IS CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT (CLASS 1) PURSUANT TO SECTION 15301 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT. RECOMMENDATION: That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 2013-003 approving Minor Adjustment 2013-001 to increase the maximum height of a proposed block wall by 20 percent and reduce the front/street side setback by 10 percent for a property located at 1200 Edinger Avenue. Zoning Administrator Agenda January 28, 2013 Page 2 The Zoning Administrator called the meeting to order and asked the applicant if she had read the Conditions of Approval or had any questions. The Zoning Administrator opened the public hearing. The applicant, Christina Quintero, stated she had read the Conditions of Approval and would be able to comply with them all. Ms. Quintero expressed one concern regarding the graffiti paint being used on their walls. She stated the vines covering the walls had a hard time gripping to the walls due to the use of graffiti paint. The Zoning Administrator closed the public hearing. The Zoning Administrator stated the City would be able to work with Ms. Quintero to address her concerns regarding the vines and graffiti paint. The Zoning Administrator approved Zoning Administrator Action No. 2013-003, approving Minor Adjustment 2013-001. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: 10:50 a.m. The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
