HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 45 (1936)RA follows: ORDINANCE NO. 45 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN FIXING AND DETERMINING THE NUMBER OF CENTS ON EACH ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS OF THE ASSESSED VALUATION OF THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITNIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN TO BE LEVIED AND COL- LECTED AS A REVENUE TO PAY THE GENERAL RUNNING EXPENSES OF SAID CITY, AND THE BONDED AND OTHER INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID CITY DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1936-1937 The City Council of the City of Tustin do ordain as SECTION 1; It is hereby determined that the sum of One Hundred and Twenty ($1.20 ) Cents upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of the assessed valuation of all the taxable property within the City of Tustin is required forthe purpose of providing a revenue to meet the general expenses of the said City for the fiscal year 1936-1937, and to pay the bonded and other indebtedness of said City, and the proper officers are hereby directed to levy and collect the said sum of One Hundred and Twenty ($_L.20 ) Cents on each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of the assessed valuation of all the taxable property within said City as assessed by the Assessor of the City of Tustin for the fiscal year 1936 -1937 - SECTION II: That the revenue raised through the col- lection of taxes as aforesaid shall be, and is, hereby allocated as follows: The sum collected upon One Hundred Cents ($1.00) thereof, to the General Yund; The sum collected upon Twenty Cents ($0.20) thereof, to the Municipal Improvement Bonds o.f 1930, Bonded Indebtedness Fund. SECTION III: The City Clerk shall cause this ordinance to be published once in the '"Tustin News", a weelltyt newspaper printed and published in the City of Tustin, County of Orange, State of California, and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect. I, J. R. HARBOUR, City Clerk of the City of Tustin, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin held on the 17th day of August., 1936, and was finally passed at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 8th day of September, 1936s by the following note, to—wit: AYES: Councilmen: j,0an, Riser Pieper ani Schwendeman.
